“Fourth Antimonopoly Package” cracks down on unfair competitionOn November 24, 2015, VEGAS LEX law firm hosted a roundtable, Unfair competition: New constraints, which focused on the latest changes to the Law on Protection of Competition (known as “the fourth antimonopoly package”) for heads of legal departments of major Russian and foreign companies. The experts spoke at the event about the need to adjust companies’ conduct in accordance with the changes to the competition law, about the right balance of intellectual property and antimonopoly regulation, the companies’ liability for using a competitor’s information. The experts also reviewed and discussed practical cases involving unfair competition practices.
