Second Russian Corporate Law Forum to focus on changes in the Civil Code and amended joint-stock companies legislationThe Second Russian Corporate Law Forum* will be held on November 26–27, 2015, organized by the Aktsionerny Vestnik magazine and the Corporate Governance Guide, Vestnikao.ru. The participants will discuss the past year’s innovations and changes to the Russian Civil Code and the Federal Law "On Joint Stock Companies". VEGAS LEX Tax practice associate Nikolay Rudomanov will speak on the first day of the forum, at the business roundtable, De-offshorization: Regulatory reform yields first results. The expert will talk about materials and equipment ("substance") used by foreign companies and the Russian tax authorities and courts’ approach to this matter. Senior associate of the Corporate practice Alexander Garmaev will give a presentation on November 27 at the roundtable, Corporate contract: Enforcement issues. He will discuss Development of the judicial practice on corporate contracts.
