VEGAS LEX on changes in tax legislation and court practice in 2013

The agenda included discussions of the Supreme Commercial Court’s stance on the key issues of Part I of the Russian Tax Code (with due regard for Resolution No. 57 adopted by the Supreme Commercial Court’s Plenary Meeting on July 30, 2013), key amendments made to the tax legislation in 2013, and the tax litigation strategy – with due regard for the abovementioned resolution and the amendments made to the tax legislation in 2013.

The experts invited to the roundtable are Supreme Commercial Court Judge Svetlana Petrova and Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service Control Department Konstantin Novosyolov.

VEGAS LEX was represented by Tax Practice Projects Manager Yury Ivanov. He spoke about the influence of the adopted amendments to legislation and explanations of the Supreme Commercial Court’s Plenary Meeting in 2013 on the taxpayers’ attitude to judicial and out-of-court complaints procedure regarding non-regulatory acts of the tax agencies, as well as the specifics of the collection and use of evidence by the tax agencies.

The roundtable was attended by representatives of large Russian and foreign companies.
