The first annual award "Business -LEADER" 2010 took place in Volgograd on March 11, 2011. The award is established by the magazine «National Business». Volga Region Directorate and Alexander Vyazovik, the Head of the Directorate, won the award in "Legal Firm" nomination.  

The award is given to the organizations, which operate in the Volga region for their active, outstanding and stable business activities. The selection was organized in two stages. Volga Region Directorate left far behind the large players of the local legal market. The prize-winners were selected by the special Expert Committee, which members were the representatives of the mass media, public and large commercial organizations. The criteria for winning the award was: the level of the maturity and stability of an organization, its presence in the information field, its pace of development, active social position, business achievements, customer recognition.

The organizers believe that the award is established to attract the attention to the leaders of the regional business society, to support the integration of the effective technology and mechanisms into the regional business as well as to stimulate effective business activity of the region.
