VEGAS LEX discusses Russian clients’ international litigation at Russian Wealth Advisors ForumOn February 4, 2016, VEGAS LEX Partner, Head of International projects group Yuriy Bortnikov spoke at Russian Wealth Advisors Forum in Zurich, which brought together the world's leading experts advising wealthy individuals from Russia and other CIS countries and their families on business issues and structuring of private capital. Yuriy Bortnikov spoke at the session, International litigation for Russians – theory and practice. Why litigate in 2016? The main issue for discussion was whether Russian clients still prefer to litigate abroad, and if so, why. Experienced experts discussed problems arising in this area and shared examples from their practice.
