Tax dispute is won on behalf of RosenergoatomIn December 2004, the Arbitration Court of Saratov Province affirmed the decision of the trial court in a lawsuit brought by the Rosenergoatom Concern against the tax authorities, who sought to collect over 220 million rubles from Balakovskaya Atomic Power Station. In April 2004, Vegas-Lex attorneys took on this case after the client, representing itself, had lost at trial. In May 2004, as a result of the efforts by Vegas-Lex attorneys, the case was remanded by the Federal Arbitration Court for Povolzhskiy District for a new trial. In November 2004, the trial court adopted the legal position taken by Vegas-Lex. |
