On July 4, 2016, VEGAS LEX will host its annual summer internship as part of the VEGAS Academy program for students of Moscow universities approved after the qualifying rounds*.

Internship at VEGAS LEX will help students gain invaluable professional experience in the field of Russian and international law and knowledge that they will be able to use in their future practice.

Doing the internship program at VEGAS LEX gives the trainees a hands-on experience of a Russian law firm’s work. This experience helps them choose the branch of law they would like to specialize in and make the right career choice.

During the program, the VEGAS LEX heads of various practices and lawyers assign the trainees specific jobs as part of the current client projects. They supervise and correct their performance. The jobs have to do with technical and legal support for the projects, analysis of the regulatory framework and collection of the required documents, pre-preparation of documentation and drafting of legal opinions, working in courts and judicial and legal organizational assistance.

This gives students a chance to show their skills and their potential to join the VEGAS LEX team later. The firm, in turn, expands its team with the best students, brilliant lawyers in the future.

* Qualifications for internship:

1. Written test (general legal knowledge and English);

2. Business game (at VEGAS LEX office) with representatives of the VEGAS LEX practices;

3. Professional assignment: Write a memorandum to address a business case (distance testing)
