VEGAS LEX in the V Interregional Forum of the largest companies of the SFD: On the Factors of the Southern Region Key Economic SectorsNovember 11 in Krasnodar, Partner, Director of Regional Development, presented his speech at the V Interregional Forum of the largest companies of the SFD*:"Forecasts for the South of Russia - Where will the new leaders come from?" The event was organized by Expert media holding with the support of the Municipal Administration of Krasnodar and the Southern Regional Committee of AEB, as well as the Krasnodar Territory Administration. The forum brought together leaders of the largest, leading companies in the South of Russia, representatives of the administrative authorities of the North Caucasus Federal District and South Federal District, members of the Chamber of Commerce and business associations. Vladimir Evlanov, the Head of the Municipality of Krasnodar, and Dmitry Grishankov, CEO of Expert RA rating agency welcomed the participants in their opening speech. The forum went on with two parallel panel discussions; in one of which expert took an active part with his report on "Modernization scenarios of the key industries in the region". Michail began his speech by thanking the rating agency, Expert media holding. He shared with the audience his views on who can develop the economy of the Southern region and what kind of new players are in the market. He said that the companies which had leadership ambitions would drive the region. He drew attention to a number of factors contributing to the development of the leading sectors of the SFD, in particular, to the undisputed role of the regional authorities to improve the climate of regional development, to create favorable legislation, which would attract investors, to reduce corruption, and to support cluster policy and the implementation of infrastructure projects. * A plenary session on "How to Make Changes in the Economy of the Region" concluded the forum together with the ceremony of awarding diplomas to the leaders of "Expert-250 SOUTH" rating, as well as special diplomas of the organizing committee of the Forum for contribution to the development of the region.    |
