October 11, 2011 the business newspaper "Vedomosti", with the support of the law firm VEGAS LEX*, held the V Pharmaceutical Forum "PHARMA RUSSIA 2011". The event was attended by the key representatives of government authorities, managers of the biggest companies - pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy chains. The Forum summarized the developments of the past year and discussed prospects for further development of the pharmaceutical business.
The discussion site, focused on government procurement and trade policies, became the most anticipated event of the forum. Alexander Sitnikov, Managing Director, Partner at VEGAS LEX, presented his speech on "The development of public procurement and trade policies: results of the latest changes in the legislation". His report set the tone for subsequent discussions at the session. Michael Fedorenko, deputy head of social services and trade at the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service Russia supported the participants in the discussion.
