VEGAS LEX is in the top three largest law firms in RussiaVEGAS LEX law firm was ranked third in "The largest law firms in Russia” nomination by the publishing house "Kommersant". Annually the magazine "Secret Firmy" of the publishing house "Kommersant" reveals ratings of the largest law firms in Russia. This year VEGAS LEX compete against "Pepelyaev group", "Yakovlev and Partners", "Yegorov, Puginsky, Afanasiev and Partners", and many others. The rating took into account the number of attorneys in Russian offices, estimated annual turnover in Russia, and the number of partners. Anticipating the sector growth of Russian law firms, Alexander Sitnikov, Managing Director at VEGAS LEX, says: "Sometimes it is appropriate to talk about the development of different areas in the legal business, sometimes it is not, because legal business is conservative. Let’s take tax and dispute resolution areas. They have been around for a long time and always will be there. So we can speak of relative stability. But, on the other hand, we can talk about the development of the segments associated with the cycles of the economy. For example, we witnessed a growth of a number of bankruptcies.
