VEGAS LEX attends first meeting of Pharm SalonOn April 20, 2016, pharmaceutical industry experts and representatives of the media met in the Pharmaceutical Salon*, an event organized with the support of R-Pharm Group for professional discussion of the current state, problems and regulation of the pharmaceutical industry.**
VEGAS LEX’s Maria Borzova, Manager of Life sciences projects, was invited as one of the experts to speak about the legislative framework and recent legislative initiatives related to the compulsory licensing of medicines. She also listed the possible risk factors that could entail negative implications for the pharmaceutical industry.
The first meeting focused on technology transfer, import substitution and local manufacturing of foreign drugs in Russia.
At the end, journalists had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions and consider topics for the next discussion at the Pharmaceutical Salon.
