On October 8, 2015, VEGAS LEX took part in the PPP: Synergy of Success annual strategic forum in Kaluga organized by the Kaluga Regional Public-Private Partnership Development Center.

Head of PPP and infrastructure practice moderated the legal session, PPP Legislation: New Opportunities and Ways to Implement Them. VEGAS LEX lawyer Irina Dolgikh spoke about the implementation of PPP projects within the framework of the federal law on public-private partnership. The expert highlighted the key novelties in the new PPP law that facilitate the implementation of PPP projects. In addition, she explained some of the controversial provisions of the PPP law using practical examples, and proposed possible solutions.

A variety of socially charged PPP projects were presented at the event in order to find potential partners for further joint implementation. The forum participants analyzed the current legislation on public-private partnership and provided specific examples of successful implementation of such projects in Russia.

The forum was attended by representatives of state and municipal authorities, non-governmental organizations and the academic community.
