On 23 April 2019, a conference devoted to the topic "One’s own business in questions and answers. Life hacks for entrepreneurs" organised by Kommersant Publishing House in association with Tinkoff was held in Marriott Hotel Novy Arbat (Moscow).

In the course of the conference, professional experts at different business areas shared their experience of handling challenges associated with finance, taxes, law and marketing in starting up one’s own business.

Natalia Abtseshko, Head of International projects group at VEGAS LEX, delivered a speech concerning legal aspects of conducting business activities and gave tips about mitigating risks in personal data management.

Ms Abtseshko explained the notion of personal data, spoke of personal data protection measures and the things to be taken into account when processing personal data, in particular, with regard to applicability of requirements of the GDPR* and liability for breaching the applicable laws.

The conference ended with a case-session concerning success stories of popular entrepreneurs held in the TED format.
