DESCRIPTION:The Saint Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPILF) and the VEGAS LEX law firm invite you to a breakfast meeting devoted to the development prospects and implementation of special investment contracts (SPIC’s), an instrument to provide incentives to industrial producers, and to the experience gained with signing federal-level SPIC’s.    Program:           Localizing industrial production for foreign companies in Russia: problems and best practices            Practical purposes and types of SPIC’s. The SPIC as a driver of advanced industry development. The current regulatory framework and new approaches toward legal regulations for the localization process.            The real opportunities and potential of SPIC's. Advantages for the investor gained to help implement investment projects. The basic measures for the government to provide incentives and support for commercial entities involved in SPIC’s.            The distinguishing characteristics of how SPIC’s are structured and signed at the federal level. Business plans, investment opportunities, preliminary negotiations. The “pitfalls” of applying SPIC’s and suggestions how to eliminate them.            Successful practice and experience with implementing the first SPIC's.
