Supported by:                 February 6th, 2018     Moscow, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, #3 Tverskaya Ulitsa, Moscow Hall     Organizers: Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Council of Energy Producers association      The discussion will focus on:     The start of a program to refurbish heat generation facilities - the bulk of those assets will have to be refurbished, and their efficiency increased on the whole, taking into account the best way to use different types of fuel and the regulatory acts being adopted to help implement the best technologies available.      A systematic approach is needed to arrange the electrical grid architecture, and choose technologies based on an analysis of hydrocarbon reserves, with a forecast of the prime cost involved over the medium term.        Along with that, the particular features of the Russian power generation system should always be kept in mind, taking into account the system of centralized district heating, which combines the production of electrical power and heat.     Potential mechanisms to attract investment need to be reviewed to refurbish facilities that generate heat and electrical power.
