OJSC RusHydro is Russia’s biggest power company, owner of most of the country’s hydro-electric power stations, the second biggest generating company (after Rosenergoatom) in Russia in terms of installed power station capacity.

Project description:
Over the last year, the Commercial Practice of Vegas Lex has carried out a number of legal “mini-projects” in the Client’s interests, such as:
- - support for conclusion of a contract with a foreign supplier of complex power equipment, including aspects of securing the parties’ obligations (guarantees of parent companies, bank guarantees, letters of credit), regulation of intellectual property transfer, and settlement schemes between the parties to the contract;
- - support for conclusion of a licensing agreement on provision of use rights to manufacturing technologies (with a foreign element);
- - support for transactions to raise bank credit, including aspects of surety, guarantees and the like;
- - support for bill of exchange financing;
- - support for conclusion and fulfilment of a partnership agreement between the parties to the investment Project;
- - legal analysis of hedging transaction concluded during implementation of the Project.
The complex legal issues arising regularly during the Project сложные allow the Firm to demonstrate its competence to the Client in the most diverse branches of the law.
