October 20, 2005, at “Maritime Law and Insurance” Conference Ekaterina Galasheva, “Vegas-Lex” Senior Lawyer of International Practice Department, made a talk on ”Protection of Ship-Owners’ Interests in Case of Ship Arrest: Insurer’s Functions”. In her report, Ekaterina Galasheva touched upon problems of legal regulation of ship arrest and release from arrest procedures.

”Maritime Law and Insurance” Conference was organized by Insurance News Agency and “Insurance” Master-Centre/ The participants involved executives of insurance and reinsurance companies, ship-owners and lawyers of large Russian companies.
